The comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan–ATLAS will approach Earth on Saturday, coming within 44 million miles. It’s visible in the Northern Hemisphere from mid-October to early November. This is its first recorded flyby, last seen around 80,000 years ago. It appears like a bright fireball with a long tail.
